I was so impressed by Ryoji Ikeda exhibition "＋/－[the infinite between 0 and 1]" so I bought his album "dataplex" at the museum because of the nice jacket.

This album is super minimal music.

pu,pu,pupupupupup.......... like that.

It consists of the smallest sound like noise. But it's not just noise, it contains rhythm in the song itself at the same time.

It's like stimulus rather than music.

Your brain is gonna get a massage.

池田亮司展＋/－[the infinite between 0 and 1]が非常によかったので、dataplexをジャケ買いしました。

このCDはスーパーミニマルです。

プツッ、プツッ、プツプツプツプツ、、、、、

と、ノイズのような、文字通り最小限の音で構成されているのですが、それがリズムを伴うことで曲としてしっかり成立している。

音楽っていうより刺激に近いかも。

脳を波動でマッサージしているような。

是非聴いてみて下さい。

Ryoji Ikeda is a quite famous artist in the field of electrical music especially experimental one and he deals with human perception like Jim Lambie who I introduced before.　(But the approach is totally different...)

Personally this exhibition has so much stronger impact to human perception than Jim Lambie's one.

"I interpret the world we perceive into "data" like sine wave or pixel segmentalized in the smallest unit and reorganize them. By this procedure, I 'll show you totally different human perception"

This is a theme of this exhibition.

"The world of data" that he shows seems to be visualization of the world of internet or natural phenomenon or even inside of human body.

By this exhibition, I could imagine there is a kind of invisible orders in each world and they are kind of same and linked to one another under our perception.

I have never experienced this kind of works. 

People who experience can imagine a lot from works.

The works has high aesthetic quality.

These are what I want art works to have.

The works of this exhibition includes all of them.

東京都現代美術館の池田亮司展に行ってきました。

以前ジムランビーを人間の知覚を問題にしたアーティストだと紹介しましたが、池田亮司もまた同様のテーマを取り扱っています。（アプローチは全く異なりますが。。。）

僕個人としては今回の池田亮司展の方がジムランビー展より遥かに知覚を刺激するものでした。

「私たちの知覚する世界を、サイン波やピクセルといった最小単位にまで突き詰められた「データ」として捉え直し、それらを再構成することで、全く別の世界体験を作り出すこと。」がテーマなのですが、感想としては彼が音や光で表現するデータの世界は、見方によってはインターネット世界の視覚化のようであり、自然現象の視覚化のようであり、また我々人間の体内で行われている生命活動の視覚化のようでもありました。（正確には音も入っているので知覚化ですね。。。）

我々の世界には目に見えない秩序のようなものがあり、根本の部分ではそれらは全てリンクしているのではと想像を巡らす貴重な体験となりました。

今まで体験したことがない類いの作品であること。

体験者の想像の余地があること。

そして作品が美的な観点で高いクオリティが保たれていること。

僕がアートに求める多くの点が内包された素晴らしい展覧会でした。

I'm not going to write about the detail of EVANGELION because you can see a lot of discussions and aspects on the internet.

The director used the story of the Old Testament and the concept "libido and deathtoldo" proposed by Freud and tried to describe the problem of the relationships between myself and others by pretending to make "robot animation". I was so impressed by the fact that he did this experimental project not in small limited let's say area, but in very big commercial area and it gave a big impact to society.

EVANGELION has a very important message that a lot of people forget about recently. 

Think and decide by myself. We can't live alone.

The sub title of THE END OF EVANGELION describes it by the most simple way.

"I NEED YOU"

キャラクター：貞本義行

エヴァに関しては様々な議論や解釈が溢れているため、あえてここで説明する意味はないので細かいことは省略します。

ただ、旧約聖書のストーリーやフロイトの概念であるリビドー（生への本能）やデストルド（死への本能）を絡めながらロボットアニメ風を装って自己と他者の心の問題に接近していく。そしてこのような実験的なプロジェクトをマニアックな世界で終わらせることなく、広く社会に影響を与え得る戦略をもって商業的にも成功した庵野監督とスタッフの仕事には感動の一言です。

エヴァは現代人が失いつつある大切なスピリットの重要性を訴えかけている気がします。

自分で考え、自分で決めること。そして他者の存在があって初めて自分が存在すること。

この完結編のサブタイトルにエヴァの主題が最も簡潔な形で表現されています。

"ZNR / BARRICADE3"

ZNR is the rock unit that HECTOR ZAZOU and JOSEPH RACAILL started in 1975 and this album is the first one.

It is a little old but the sound is really avant-garde even now.

Beautiful music.

エクトール・ザズーとジョゼフ・ラカイユが1975年に結成したロック・ユニット、ＺＮＲ（Z&R=Z'n'R）の1stアルバム。

今聴いても前衛的で不思議な質感をもった美しい音楽。

Actress : Ayako Wakao, Machiko Kyo, Michiyo Kogure, Aiko Mimasu, Hiroko Machida

This is the last work of Kenji Mizoguchi.

He shot how prostitutes struggled to live and work in red-light "Yumenosato" in Yoshihara while prostitution law were under discussion in 1956.

Personally I was surprised the most about how beautiful Ayako Wakao was. I really love the atmosphere she has and I was so impressed by her aura throughout the ages. In real world,she is a wife of an architect Kisho Kurokawa and she was next to him when he became a candidate in national election.

And secondly Kyo Machiko, I payed attention the character "Mikki" she played roll in. 

The character is modeled on a girl who moved from Kobe to Yoshihara so she is so chic rather than the others. Everybody else wear Japanese traditional clothes but only she wears European one. And she lives at her own pace and acts like free man. I guess some people don't like this kind of free man, but for me she seems to have amiable and strong mentality. She always takes care of others and sometimes give them foods or money if they don't have them enough.

You can see other characters who are also struggling to live. I guess how difficult they live in that time is different from the problem we have nowadays but I could feel somehow same kind of feeling from this old film. 

Anyway it is always difficult to live all through the ages.

溝口健二監督の遺作。

1956年、売春禁止法案が国会で審議されている頃の吉原の「夢の里」で働く娼婦達の生き様を描く。

個人的に若尾文子の美しさが一番衝撃的だった。彼女のはなつ独特のオーラに時代をこえて打ちのめされてしまった。建築家の故黒川紀章氏の妻として選挙戦で彼に寄り添っていた女性である。

そして京マチ子。彼女の場合は演じているキャラクターの方に惹き付けられた。彼女が演じたミッキーは、神戸から吉原へやってきたという設定でどこか都会風。他のみんなが和服をきてあくせくと生きている中、ミッキーだけは洋服をさらっと着ていて、言動や行動も非常に自由で、マイペース。それを快く思わない人たちもいるだろうが、僕にはとても素直で力強い女性に見えた。借金しまくっている割には同僚に飯をおごっていたり、太っ腹で器がでかい。娼婦をやめて田舎へ帰る同僚に「むこうでうまくいかなかったら、いつでも帰ってきな」といって餞別をあげていたシーンはこころにぐっときた。

といった感じで今回はストーリーや全体の構成よりキャラクターの方に目がいきました。この二人以外にも時代の狭間でもがきながら生きている人々が描かれています。今の時代の生きづらさとは異なる葛藤だと思いますが、どこか重なる部分を感じました。いつの時代も人は生きるのに必死なのです。

Roppongi Art Night was held from sunset of March 28th to sunrise of 29th.

Some art pieces were exhibited in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown, Ropponngi shopping street and we could see movies and the observatory of Mori Tower could be used all night.

I have never seen such an experimental event in Tokyo.

I heard that there was this kind of event in Paris....

The Tokyo Metropolitan government held the event. It also held Tokyo Marathon on March 22nd. Recently the government tend to plan cool event and I think which is so nice and fantastic. The government should be experimental definitely.

One of the things that surprised me the most was the number of people who came there despite it was held late in the night. I guess people want encouragement and power of art that can break kind of predetermined harmony because our economic prospects are extremely gloomy.

I wish this kind of event spread more and accepted by a lot of people!

Personally I was interested in Ikuko Taniguchi who exhibit herself in Artcube.

She is so mysterious...

3月28日の日没から29日の日の出まで、六本木アートナイトというイベントが開催されました。六本木ヒルズと東京ミッドタウン、六本木商店街等にアート作品が展示されてあったり、イベントがあったり、映画がやってたり、森タワーの展望台が深夜営業していたり、、、とにかく東京では見たことがない現象が発生していました。パリではこういったイベントあるんですけどね。。

どうやら主催は東京都のようで、東京マラソンといいこの六本木アートナイトといい、最近行政側が面白いイベントを企画する傾向があっていいなぁと思います。

そして一番驚いたのは、深夜にもかかわらずかなり多くの人がアートを楽しみに来ていたこと！最近不況不況と暗いニュースが多いから予定調和をぶち壊すようなアートのパワーや刺激をみんな求めているんだと思います。

もっともっとこんな活動が世の中に広がって、多くの人に受け入れられるようになってほしいと思います！

そして個人的にアートキューブの中に本人が作品として展示されていたたにぐちいくこさんが気になりました。ミステリアスです。
